FIN 130 Unit 2

It’s interesting how things can evolve. I thought I was close to the completion of the bag project with just a little sanding to finish, when Angela wondered if another path was possible. The screwed up end of the bag reminded her of the shape of a tornado and I decided to take a bit of a chance and modify the piece. Adding some wire was reasonably straightforward, but then I found that there was no more plaster bandage left and the surface would have to be built up with plaster alone. This involved quite a bit of extra work and the finished result was not perhaps as it would have been if there had been some bandage available, but I believe that its is at least recognizable as a tornado. Another challenge was the need to suspend the tornado and I installed a hook, with some trepidation as I wasn’t sure how well it might hold in soft plaster – we will see tomorrow when the tornado gets hung up!!!
