Having had a disaster with the previous collage I decided i needed to get back on the horse and develop Louisa’s drawing using mainly collage. I wanted to preserve the perspective of the three walls and also i really liked the abstract wells in the floor so i wanted to preserve that. I did feel there was quite a bit of extraneous space at the bottom of the drawing so decided to cut that off completely – sorry Louisa. Found various elements online to enhance the drawing. Must give credit to William Morris, https://www.pictureboxblue.com/william-morris-designs-patterns-flowers/#the-designs-and-patterns
i couldn’t find a credit for the window but this is the flooringhttps://timbertown.ca/product/natural-ro-hardwood-select-2-1-4/
I added some of Louisa’s original drawing in the background

i wanted to continue Louisa’s theme with the drip. Another lesson about use of media was i initially tried to use chalk pastel mixed with water but that sunk into the paper, so i switched to red food coloring which ran well on the collage card but absorbed a bit on the bare paper – but i quite like the way the drip followed the collage round one of the holes in the floor. Louisa will understand why the octopus is in the depths..
