Our second assignment involved creating a grey scale, ranging from 0-100% black. This sounds simple in principle, but in practice the nuances between shades can be very subtle. I created a number of strips with different values and then came the task of arranging them in order.
Above are a couple of examples of the strips, though I had made several more. I eliminated the examples which I felt were close together and then arranged the remainder.
